Better Datascience experience
Running Datascience software can be complicated. It is not as simple as downloading some software and press some button to start. Often we have to install enourmous amounts of dependencies. Software has to be in the correct version and code we find online has to be adapted to run correctly. We prepared some servers to include the necessary software for complex tasks like specific machine learning packages. If you want to teach some software to a group of users you need to make sure, that all users are running an identical software stack. Our system will recreate every server based on exactly the same revision.
Environment friendly
Our computing center is proud to be eco-friendly with its innovative cooling system. Instead of using conventional AC based on "vapor-compression refrigeration", we utilize a heat exchanger. This combined with our water cooling system usually allows us to achieve an impressive 70% energy reuse. Not only does this efficiently cool our computing equipment, but it also captures the energy generated and redirects it for heating purposes. Join us in our commitment to sustainability.

Hardware
Don't fight with the Hardware
The hardware you are using is running in the computing center, so some else is fighting with it for you ;) . It is connected to emergency power and (future) we are doing backups of your data so you don't have to. Every once in a while we will buy new Hardware. Your workloads will simply migrate to this hardware and as a consequence, your stuff will run faster.
